Building our beaches-finish what we started

Ensuring we can execute our plan--financial integrity.

A serene beach landscape with a clear blue sky and gentle waves.

Largest beach project in town history

The $50 milion beach project--permitting is underway-to create "engineered" beaches in the Phases 1,2 and 3 (New River Inlet to the Inlet) requires State matching funds at the $3 State to $1 NTB ratio. Every dollar we spend unnecessarily costs us $ 4 at the beach--My "Rule of 4".

Financial controls and fiscal responsibility are necessary

Repairing our beaches is critical. Expertise in running a business and proper planning is the only path to success. I am the only candidate that has experienced and succeeded in this area. Lack of future planning is a concern of mine and I intend to push for and establish a 5-year strategic plan. This plan must include your input to determine not only the Towns priorities but also the funds and commitments necessary to accomplish them. It will also be a scorecard where each year we will publish "how we've done" so that we can be accountable to you.
